Birds Eye Launch ‘Steamfresh’ with Sampling Stand at Waterloo Station

Working in conjunction with The Robin Collective for Birds Eye and Mischief PR, Berry Place produced an eye-catching display for an experiential campaign to launch Birds Eye’s new Steamfresh range at Waterloo Station.

Its intention to introduce their new range by conveying free samples, while also trying and get the nation to eat more healthily, especially those busy commuters who’s long journeys don’t allow time to cook a proper meal in the evening, with many admitting to not having eaten a vegetable in the past week!

With an intended display period of only one day, the stand was developed from concept to completed installation within a week. Berry Place supervised assembly and removal of the unit on location, which featured acrylic pick’n’mix style containers for dispensing samples, printed vinyl wraps and a large floor graphic.

The project was a great success with the potential for many more similar events to be staged.

Enfield at War 1914-1918: Update

There have been several notable developments since the opening of the Enfield Museum Extraordinary Heroes exhibition.

'A County at War - Life on the Home Front in Hertfordshire’, a new documentary commissioned by the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire and produced by the University of Hertfordshire, features a computer generated segment on the Schütte-Lanz SL.11 airship, using a 3D CAD model supplied by Berry Place.

Additionally, Eileen Bostle’s new book, ‘Enfield’s Night to Remember - the airship raid of 2nd/3rd September 1916’, features a image of the model Schütte-Lanz SL.11 airship, which resident modelmaker Matt photographed for the Berry Place website.

Following the success of the documentary, Berry Place designer Nathan Chapman received a letter from the Countess of Verulam congratulating his work on the model of the airship, mentioning the digital model of the zeppelin was one of the most amazing parts of the film.

The exhibition is currently open and runs until 11 January 2015. www.enfield.gov.uk/museum

The Botanist Display at Soho Wine Supply, London

On behalf of Rémy Cointreau’s super premium artisanal gin, The Botanist, Berry Place built and installed a unique display, with a suitably scientific theme.

Each part of the unique display aims to convey a botanical influence - solid oak wooden shelving, representing a laboratory worktop; chemistry apparatus evoking the meticulous processes involved in the gin's complex distillation; and an assortment of vegetation, referring to the 22 seasonal herbs and flowers found in the gin itself.

The gin was created and distilled by Jim McEwan at the Bruichladdich distillery on the Hebridean Isle of Islay.

Unveiling the National Air Traffic Service Aeromedical Centre

Commissioned by The Surgery on behalf of the National Air Traffic Service, Berry Place was tasked with creating an iconic plaque to enhance the unveiling of the new aeromedical centre, located at the Prestwick Air Traffic control centre.

The plaque was constructed out of stainless steel on granite, with the overall design taking inspiration from the National Air Traffic Service logo and branding.

The new Scottish aeromedical centre means professional pilots and air traffic controllers will no longer have to travel to the south of England for regular medical checks, including eye-sight, hearing, and screening for illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease and asthma.

With the public unveiling of the aeromedical centre fast approaching, Berry Place successfully met the tight deadline, delivering the plaque in just nine days.

More information on the new Prestwick aeromedical centre can be found here: http://www.nats.aero/news/first-scottish-aeromedical-centre-opens-business/
