Unveiling the National Air Traffic Service Aeromedical Centre
Commissioned by The Surgery on behalf of the National Air Traffic Service, Berry Place was tasked with creating an iconic plaque to enhance the unveiling of the new aeromedical centre, located at the Prestwick Air Traffic control centre.
The plaque was constructed out of stainless steel on granite, with the overall design taking inspiration from the National Air Traffic Service logo and branding.
The new Scottish aeromedical centre means professional pilots and air traffic controllers will no longer have to travel to the south of England for regular medical checks, including eye-sight, hearing, and screening for illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease and asthma.
With the public unveiling of the aeromedical centre fast approaching, Berry Place successfully met the tight deadline, delivering the plaque in just nine days.
