Berry Place Celebrates 23 Years!
This month marks the 23rd anniversary of Berry Place, and looking back through some of our early projects, it is clear we have experienced the industry change dramatically since Berry Place first opened for business. Rapid developments in technology, materials and processes have continually pushed us to adapt, but more notably the core enquires we receive, and where they have originated from has altered considerably.
Consumer brands vie more than ever to stand out from the competition in a currently volatile market, and the need for more spectacular campaigns to attract discerning customers has risen exponentially. In recent years we’ve found ourselves working with many more premium brands on high-impact visual merchandising campaigns, retail point-of-sale installations and unique packaging concepts. As such, Berry Place has seen a rise in the number of the more quirky and experiential projects.
“despite an economic climate which is affecting multiple businesses in the design and retail industries, we are busier than ever and it’s wonderful to see British manufacturing on the rise.” David Austen, Managing Director
As difficult as it is to predict, the future looks exciting. It is likely that technology will progress a lot faster over the next decade with digital - particularly location, mobile & social - interaction at the heart of retail installations and campaigns.
Having opened an additional Studio this year will enable us to undertake more of the larger Retail Design, Point-of-Sale and Visual Merchandising ventures, ensuring we can continue to accommodate the needs of whatever the immediate future brings.
